Seriously. One of my Life-Defining-Moments (LDMs) happens at 2:25 into the clip. Artistically speaking... How genius were the Henson puppeteers (one of which is clearly Kermit's voice) to think of using the Yip-Yips' own mouths as defensive shields?!
Honestly. A little creative part of me DIES each time I see them recoil as they do. "Why bother?" is what I think each time.
Oh man, the Yip-yips, those were the best. I never knew that was what they were called, and really appreciate the flashback. Super Grover was awesome, as was regular Grover when he was a waiter.
I also love the two-headed monsters that helped pronounce words. Not sure what their names were either. The honkers were fun... I remember watching it once in Detroit and getting it on the Canadian channel. They were teaching me French. Alas, if only I had spent more time watching it. Perhaps I wouldn't be taking a language over the summer. Frownie face.
I had a friend who suffered from recuring nightmares that Mr. Snuffleufogous was serial killer by night. The vicitim would hear the slow plodding music but no matter who fast they ran they couldn't escape is long trunk.

Knowing "Who is Super Grover?" will either win you millions on Jeopardy or win my love. Take your pick.

I was always afraid of Sam the Eagle on The Muppets Show.

There's a Lit professor at MSU that looks just like Sam.

While Flaherty does look like Sam the Eagle, he also bares a striking resemblance to Milan Kundera.
