A Small (Hobbitual?) Update
You're all lucky Blogger.com has no Dwarvish rune font. That's right: I learned Dwarvish tonight (this morning)--Older Angerthas to be exact. And what were you doing at 4 a.m.? Huh? What's that? Sleeping? I can spell "you're lame" in Older Angerthasian runes; can you?
I practiced to the point of writing by almost-memory, sans alphabet table found in LOTR Appendix E. It's the phonetic derivaties of vowels and crazy th, rh, gw, sh, ngw, etc. sounds that are tricky still. By the by, I don't know what words use ngw--whatever the hell that sounds like.
